What iCloud does not prove
Phantom explicitly says an iCloud or Google Drive device backup does not restore wallet access. Its Google/Apple account wallets use the account plus a four-digit PIN; phrase-based wallets need the phrase.
Ask what decrypts the backup, which credentials must survive, whether keys can rotate, and what happens if the cloud account, phone, wallet provider, or second factor becomes unavailable.
Record the official recovery prerequisites and test the intended new-device path before depending on it. Never paste a seed phrase into a site or message sent by “support.”
